Verodian

How it works

Ask in plain language. We compare the options and rank them by real value — here’s what happens in between.

1. You ask — in your own words

Start a chat and describe what you’re after the way you’d tell a friend: “a quiet mechanical keyboard for work,” “cheapest iPhone 15 from a seller I can trust,” or even a photo of something you want to match. Verodian works out whether you’ve named a specific product or you’re still exploring, and only asks a follow-up question when it genuinely can’t proceed without one. If you were specific, it gets straight to results.

2. We search across marketplaces

Behind the scenes we query marketplace catalogs for matching listings and pull them into one place. Listings for the same product are linked together, so a single result line can stand in for the same item sold in several places — that’s what makes a true side-by-side comparison possible instead of a wall of near-duplicate cards.

3. We score each listing by value

Every listing gets a recommendation score built from independent signals, so a low price alone can’t carry a bad listing:

  • Price — the live price, compared against other listings for the same product.
  • Deal— how today’s price compares to the listing’s own tracked history, so a “sale” has to be a real drop, not a struck-through number.
  • Seller— feedback and rating signals, so a suspiciously cheap listing from a risky seller doesn’t win by default.
  • Reviews — product ratings where a marketplace exposes them.

These roll up into one Final score. You can see the individual signals on each card, so the ranking is something you can inspect — not a black box.

4. We track price history over time

Verodian records prices on a schedule, so the catalog builds a history for the products it follows. That history is what powers the Price Tracker chart and the Deal signal. A deal only earns the badge once there’s enough history to prove the current price is genuinely low for that item — not just low-looking.

5. You watch, and we tell you when to buy

Found the right product but the price isn’t right yet? Add it to your watchlist and set a target. We keep checking, and email you the moment a listing drops to your price — so you don’t have to babysit a tab. This is the part a one-off chat can’t do: a standing relationship that watches the market for you.

Independent ranking, always

Some listings earn Verodian a commission when you buy through them. That never changes the order. Ranking is decided by the value score above and nothing else — we surface the best deal, not the best-paying one. And when we don’t have a strong match for what you asked, we’ll tell you plainly instead of filling the page with accessories or unrelated items. The full disclosure lives in our Terms.
